It felt very sturdy and well engineered. I installed in a shower as a laundry chute. Screwed to the solid surface wall and sealed with silicone. Works exactly as well as one would hope to keep water out of the wall and room on the other side.

I put two fishing ports to fish through on hot days in my mini houseboat, keeping me in the cool while letting me fish where the boats shading a dropoff. I can walk on these when closed, great quality from what I see.

It helped me make use of the empty space in the rear bench, which serves as a flotation chamber. I don't use the boat in waters deeper than one meter, so an air chamber isn't essential. Now I can take full advantage of the interior space by accessing it through the hatch. Excellent quality and finishes. Highly recommended.

This deck hatch was exactly what I needed. Seems to be sturdy and seals well. The latch is also pretty easy to use. I wish it included screws for mounting at the price I paid, but overall I'm happy with it. We will see how it holds up.
